Argentina has been a country of immigrants and has seen waves of migration from Western Europe and the Middle East over the last century. The country boasts of LGBTQ-friendly laws amidst socio-economic changes in recent times. This webinar will highlight a recent wave of LGBTQ migration to Argentina from Russia, Ukraine, Chechnya, and Syria. Speakers include LGBTQ asylum seekers, immigrants, artists, and activists working to build a vibrant LGBTQ immigrant community in Buenos Aires.
